About KSMHC
What is the Kentucky School Mental Health Collaborative?
The mission of the Kentucky School Mental Health Collaborative is to ensure that all Kentucky schools and districts are able to provide a continuum of evidence-informed school-based behavioral health supports and resources that build on existing initiatives to support student mental health wellness.
The Kentucky School Mental Health Collaborative will coordinate and collaborate to facilitate the implementation of best practices in school mental health and well-being by providing technical assistance to state, regional, and local agencies.
Technical assistance in the form of training, coaching, and support will focus on improving mental health wellness outcomes for students, staff, families, and communities.
The Kentucky SMHC is a division of the Center for Instructional and Behavioral Research in Schools at the University of Louisville.
